Responsibility

  • prepare rough lumber for framing by cutting holes, using chisels or sanding saws
  • install window frames by installing wood frame doors or doors with frames
  • keep work area neat with little or no supervision
  • perform other related duties as assigned
  • install interior and exterior doors, windows, frames, and other structures by using tools and power equipment such as nail guns or hand tools; using power equipment such as nail guns or power tools; using hand tools; using power equipment such as nail guns or hand tools; using power equipment such as nail guns or hand tools; using power equipment such as nail guns or hand tools
  • repair or replace windows by using materials and power equipment such as nail guns or hand tools; using power equipment such as nail guns or hand tools; using power equipment such as nail guns or hand tools
  • install wood frame buildings by setting up materials and power equipment; setting up nails, glue etc.; driving in timbers; cutting wood into place with table saws or other saws; trimming boards with an electric sander
  • maintain work areas by keeping work areas clean; keeping work area safe from damage by weather; maintaining safety of workers at all times
