Responsibility
calculate and process all statutory payments and entitlements in accordance with the current legislations, dealing with attachment and deductions of earnings
examination of payroll reports investigating any queries prior to the authorisation of the BACS submission
identify payroll process improvements, highlighting any payroll needs/ issues which could improve the smoother running of the department to management
preparation and submission of pension contributions and handling pension related queries
sole responsibility for collation and processing of the monthly payroll, adjustments and all other aspects of the end to end payroll cycle
produce employment documentation such as contracts and changes to terms and conditions letters
process all new entrants and staff movements for payroll and personal information with all details checked and input within the correct payroll period
end-to-end HR administration processes of the employee lifecycle, including making sure all new starters, staff movements, and leaver's information are kept up to date in the process
Requirements
CIPD/Payroll qualifications, or relevant experience
experience working in a Payroll/HR environment is essential
experience working as part of a team, taking a positive approach to resolving problems
A keen eye for detail and compliance
excellent organisational and time management skills
