Responsibility
- established in 2010, Future Biogas has grown rapidly and is now at the forefront of the anaerobic digestion industry
- the company employs over 100 people with a head office in Guildford
- our plants convert a wide range of feedstocks into renewable energy through a process of anaerobic digestion which produces biogas
- biogas can either be used to generate green electricity or upgraded into biomethane and injected into the UK’s national gas network
- we are looking for a passionate, creative, and agile Communications Manager to join our head office team in Guildford
- we are a highly regarded developer and operator of 11 AD plants across the UK, providing full asset management service capabilities of development, construction, operations, maintenance, finance and compliance
- you will be working closely with the wider business development team to plan and create engaging content for our core business and our exciting new projects
- responsible for development and implementation of communications strategies in line with branding and values
Requirements
- graduate calibre with excellent research/analytical skills
- experience in a similar role, stakeholder management and media handling skills
- ability to create presentations and engaging emails, social media posts and blogs
- ability to work on multiple projects and prioritise workload based on deadlines
- accurate, highly organised, with excellent time management and attention to detail
- A science-based A-level, or experience in environmental sciences/ AD would be an advantage
- self-driven and self-motivated individual
- hold a valid full driving license for the UK and a willingness to travel
