produce timely reports for the Health & Safety committee and any other committee that may require such reporting
arrange external appointments for boarding students when required e.g. hospital, physiotherapy
recognise and work within own competence and professional code of conduct as regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council

Responsibility
to undertake the full range of grounds maintenance and gardening duties as instructed by your line manager
horticultural operations including pruning for a range of plants, weed control, general grass cutting, watering of trees, shrubs and bedding plants
hedge cutting, strimming, edging of borders
litter picking operations
participate in on-the-job or other training/development courses to improve ability and effectiveness to carry out duties and completion of training notifications
comply with all company and site procedures and regulations
to undertake any other duties that may be required within your area of your responsibility
to work as part of a team with the aim of ensuring productive and professional relationships within team, with other employees, managers and students
Requirements
passionate about the environment with a keen eye for detail
minimum of 1 years’ experience
previous experience with using petrol two stroke grass/hedge cutting equipment is preferable, but not essential
flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers
