Responsibility
- we are seeking a skilled and motivated Real-Time Systems Engineer to join our client, a specialist technology business
- you will be responsible for the design and development of the company’s latest integrated hardware and software solution
- this crucial role will have a significant impact on toll systems around the world
- the job involves the fusion of leading edge complex sensors into a fully integrated road-side system
- design and develop systems software for our products, considering system requirements and constraints
- you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our products
- write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring proper integration with hardware
- collaborate with software engineers and hardware engineers to integrate real-time systems into larger system architectures
Requirements
- bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C, scripting languages such as Bash and other modern languages
- experience with Linux operating systems, real-time operating systems , containerisation and device drivers
- familiarity with communication protocols and bus architectures
- knowledge of debugging tools, such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers
- experience with version control systems
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
