Responsibility
- actively identify and successfully convert new business opportunities
- proactively develop and maintain an excellent relationship with customers and act as a primary point of contact for enquiries
- autonomously manage time to ensure all stores are visited or called regularly and maintain a detailed customer contact log
- establish mutually beneficial customer contact plans with your customers through regular phone calls and/or visits, as appropriate, to the trade customer’s need
- work closely and collaboratively across the Frog Bike business
- develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Frog Bikes, the technology, history and products as you will be expected to effectively train store staff on Frog Bikes USPs
- apply your territory knowledge to provide efficient and accurate forecasting to assist stock availability and production lead times
- undertake regular visits to new and existing stockists, implementing new product lines and helping the trade customers driving B2C sales through collaborative practices, e.g. identifying marketing support and sales opportunities
Requirements
- strong communication and negotiation skills
- able to build collaborative and mutually beneficial working relationships with retailers, providing support and expertise to assist them to succeed
- effective time management
- full UK driving licence is essential for this role
- assume overnight travel will be occasionally needed
- sales: 1 year
- an interest and knowledge in cycling would be beneficial, but not essential
- educated to degree level with a keen interest in developing a career in sales
