Responsibility
- responsible for managing budgets and income targets
- ensure appropriate levels of staff and volunteers are available
- line Management of staff and volunteers, including managing HR processes such as grievance or disciplinary processes; managing absences or performance management
- management of budgets and achieving income targets through sales, recycling, fundraising initiatives in-store and Gift Aid
- leading on the development of sales plans and seasonal promotions alongside staff and volunteers
- to recruit, train and develop staff and volunteers ensuring we have the right skill mix to support the effective running of the charity shop
- marketing & PR for the shop including managing social media presence
- identify opportunities for collaboration with other organisations eg engaging companies for volunteering or fundraising initiatives
Requirements
