Responsibility

  • freshcut Foods is the UK’s leading manufacturer of added value plant based ingredients
  • our customers are major household names across the food service, retail, and delivery box sectors
  • we are currently looking for a new Finance Director to join the business
  • managing and developing the Finance, Costing and HR Teams
  • organise and manage budgeting, forecasting, financial and management reporting
  • the position will provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy
  • oversee the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts including and exploring variances and detailed commentary
  • you will interact effectively with other parts of the company and be viewed as a trusted business advisor by stakeholders

Requirements

  • fully Qualified Accountant
  • strong cost accounting skills
  • innovative & ability to automate processes
  • up to date technical skills and confident preparing UK Statutory accounts
  • confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including Directors
  • hands on, enthusiastic with a “can do” attitude adept at working in a dynamic business environment
