Responsibility
- prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, milkshakes and smoothies
- prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold dishes, from breakfasts to waffles, cookie dough to sundaes
- take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee preparation area
- operate coffee machines and equipment effectively
- provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- handle cash transactions and operate the till system
- assist in maintaining stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed
Requirements
- prior experience in food preparation or as a Barista is advantageous
- strong time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently
- ability to work well in a team environment and provide support where needed
- basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the wellbeing of customers
- barista experience: 1 year
