- working from our Chelmsford site
- company van and tools provided
- additional Payments for out of hours call out
- outside working and occasional offsite working to suit business needs
- inspecting vehicles to diagnose faults and repair as necessary
- liaising with colleagues, vehicle operatives and managers to prioritise workload, organise replacement parts and/or specialist support when required
- carrying out scheduled servicing inspection and preparation for testing as required for all fleet and customer vehicles
- undertaking regular safety inspections of HGVs in accordance with the statutory requirements to maintain Goods Vehicle Operators Licence and repair defects as necessary
Requirements
- level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician or Time Served
- HGV licence is an advantage
- diagnostic experience is an advantage
- full UK Driving Licence - Maximum 6 points
