- this requires a person who is highly competent and trustworthy
- it would be beneficial to have commercial Van experience as you will be responsible for daily Driving/Van yard loading
- you will be required to carry out Warehouse Operative/loader duties as well as ensure that 3.5t Box vehicles Driven in and out of the warehouse for loading goods onto
- we are looking to register candidates who have experience and are familiar working as a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE / VAN YARD SHUNTER for our client located in Inverness
- this will require you to work in the yard, safely reversing 3.5t vans into the warehouse, then take them back out into the yard once loaded
- A Keyholder is required to ensure the site is safely locked and secured overnight once the last delivery team are back to base and the site can be closed
- the role requires a Warehouse Operative/Shunter to work shifts between 0930am to 1800pm, OR until the last vehicle is back from daily deliveries. You will require a UK Driving Licence with more than 12 months held
Requirements
- you must be able to provide the following
- proven experience in previous Warehouse role
- UK Driving Licence
- be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
- loading and off loading of vehicles
- be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
- good communication skills
- hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work
