Responsibility
- lead a small team ensuring quantity surveying objectives are met across projects
- act as the internal subject matter expert & escalation point for all quantity surveying related issues on nominated projects
- tender pricing for the construction and upgrade of mobile telecommunications sites through measurement and application of agreed rate cards
- evaluate, negotiate and agree build partner’s accounts against detailed designs, handover packs, evidence submissions, etc
- prepare and negotiate accounts towards customers to maximise commercial recovery
- perform regular cost-value analysis for clients
- drive account progress with build partners and customers to achieve SLAs
- manage client expectations
Requirements
- quantity Surveying
- telecommunications
- proven and demonstrable experience in a quantity surveying role
- mobile telecommunications experience is essential
- strong commercial acumen and communications skills
- self-motivated to exceed deadlines
- supplier commercial relationship management skills
