FRASER BROTHERS BUILDING SUPPLIES is looking for employees for positions:
warehouse worker
Responsibility
- working at the trade counter and dealing with customer sales
- load and unload goods from supplier deliveries, ensuring safe handling of materials
- maintain quality control standards by inspecting goods in for defects or damages, and completing relevant supplier paperwork
- conduct materials handling tasks, including sorting and storing products in designated areas
- utilise forklifts safely to move heavy items around the warehouse as required
- ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organised at all times
Requirements
- professional & friendly personality
- good organisational skills, with an emphasis on attention to detail
- good communication skills, reliability and able to work effectively within a small team
- heavy lifting as needed; physical fitness to allow for this
- A valid forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate
- hours - 0730 - 1700 Monday to Friday, 0800 -1230 on alternate Saturday's
- previous experience in the building trade and/or a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- warehouse experience: 1 year
