Based in our Cardiff office the Property Asset Management department is looking to recruit a Surveyor / Senior Surveyor to work on a Regional portfolio shared with our Bristol office working for a variety of clients with a property and asset management mandates across South Wales and the South West. The role is to work in a dynamic team that looks after a predominantly commercial portfolio. Our responsibilities include contributing to the client’s strategy for the portfolio, asset management, development, leasing, property management and facilities management. The role is therefore varied, and every day is different. Responsibilities To build and maintain goodwill and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership. To provide high quality day to day asset and property management of an exciting mixed use Regional portfolio with a “hands on” and proactive approach. In time, and initially under supervision, to take full responsibility for providing all asset management advice for a portfolio of assets, including dealing with all lease events and opportunities to enhance value. Our services include the development of net zero pathways and strategies, we provide technical advice on building energy efficiency, EPCs, MEES, ESOS & operational energy surveys. As an Energy Surveyor, you will produce technical audits and reports to support the delivery of our clients net zero ambitions. The ideal candidate will be a qualified EPC assessor (or willing to undergo this training) and have experience in delivering carbon reduction strategies within the real estate sector. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate should have a holistic knowledge of energy efficiency, energy management, energy/carbon compliance requirements and current trends for the decarbonisation of the built environment.
