- liaising with the factory requesting information on pricing, specifications, lead times, drawings etc. and passing this on to customers
- following up with customers to ensure that they have all the required information and supplying any further details they need
- ensuring all quotations are filed correctly, and in a timely manner
- regular inputting of sales data into the database ensuring that all necessary information is recorded
- to type all general correspondence and letters to the required Company standard for the Managing Director as and when necessary
- to take responsibility for all quotations passing through the office and manage their route so that you are aware of the status of any given quotation at any given time
- ensure that all quotes are logged on the system and go out on time with the correct documentation and information, obtaining, where necessary the relevant drawings and accompanying information
- acquire, maintain, and develop knowledge of the Company’s products and services
