conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles, including engine, transmission, and suspension repairs
use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and make necessary repairs
perform safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet required safety standards
communicate effectively with customers and provide them with accurate information about their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs
maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed
maintain a clean and organised work environment
comply with safety standards and procedures

Requirements

experience working as a vehicle technician/mechanic in a similar role preferred
knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and methods
experience using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair issues
good problem-solving and analytical skills
strong attention to detail and accuracy
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
ability to work independently and as part of a team
