Requirements

  • ability to work in partnership with customers to obtain a fully requested list of documentation within tight and specific timescales
  • ability to collate, process and accurately assess documentation in support of a client’s protection/mortgage application
  • complete awareness of risk factors
  • appreciation and drive to implement a first class quality and customer experience to paying customers, lending partners, other team members and our suppliers
  • ability to assess internal client financial documentation such as passports, payslips and bank statements, to ensure they are 100% accurate, compliant and that all recommendations fully meet the client’s stated needs and objectives
  • ability to key online protection and mortgage applications accurately and without error, using fact find and oral/written communication from customers
  • ability to assess both lending risk and broker risk and to mitigate risk, through clear understanding of the type and volume of supporting documents required, to ensure a fully informed lending decision
  • ability to pro-actively form judgements regarding risk and implement detailed processes to effectively and efficiently safeguard our lenders, client data, and the brokerage whilst meeting business aims
