- review of drafts Group Accounts at the half year and year end. Ensure appropriate/up to date disclosures are included
- assist with the year-end audit and help manage the relationship with External Auditors
- manage technical aspects of the audit engagement, preparing technical papers and agree accounting treatment with External Auditors
- prepare all technical papers required for the External Auditors and Audit Committee
- manage intercompany loans and ensure Group and Joint Venture dividends are comfortably covered by distributable reserves
- ensure compliance with Group treasury policy and optimise cash balances on deposit
- liaise with our joint venture partners on technical and reporting queries on an ongoing basis
- review quarterly reporting to our joint venture partner
