Responsibility
- consistent track record of delivery across Cloud related projects and programs of work
- proven ability to lead engineering teams in highly complex multi-cloud environments
- applying software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- implementing and troubleshooting cloud server patches and service issues
- configuring, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cloud strategies, policies, and procedures
- monitoring and analyzing cloud server and service usage
- overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of managing Cloud Services including software deployment and upgrades, system setup, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, cloud monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery and routine update of services
- build and deploy secure, scalable, immutable, and reusable modules integrated in DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- bachelor’s Degree in related field of work or equivalent work experience
- industry related certifications preferred – AWS, Azure, GCP
- experience deploying Containers and scheduling frameworks
- ability to assist engineers in understanding how to optimize their services for utilization, response time, throughput, latency, relative, absolute, variance, instrumentation, parallelism, asynchronous calls, utilization, bottleneck, tracing, resource contention, and MTTR
- 3+ years’ experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE admin type role or related field
- experience with cloud containerization, Terraform Enterprise, PowerShell and chef
