Responsibility
we are looking for an enthusiastic and organised 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our existing small team, based in Hackney
an escalation point for the junior team members
respond to incoming emails and answer telephone calls
capture and log the end-user requirements/Incident in detail
delivering technical fixes
investigate and trouble-shoot incidents and apply resolutions
process Service Request, following the agreed procedures
the role will be diverse and offers an opportunity to learn a multitude of technologies, by investigating and resolving a variety of requests and incidents
Education
A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 cloud, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams
excellent working knowledge of Microsoft client operating systems and applications
network troubleshooting skills with routers, firewalls, switches, and WAN connectivity
knowledge of Ubiquity firewalls and Draytek routers would be beneficial
strong working knowledge of Microsoft server products, including Microsoft Server, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange, Intune, Azure etc
knowledge/experience of virtualisation technologies is a distinct advantage
associate or professional certifications are desire-able
