maintenance engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- ensure ALL PPM schedules are maintained, documented within Mango, and conform to legislation
- support and maintain the highest level of re-active response
- time to unplanned breakdowns in line with departmental KPI
- updating and using the Mango Maintenance System as part of supporting data capture and compliance
- carry out as required all mandatory Maintenance Health and Safety inspections that are assigned
- report as required any Health and Safety issues through the appropriate communication channels
- ensure the Maintenance Department housekeeping is maintained to the highest 5S standard
- fault finding ability Electrically and Mechanically Required to and the ability to work on specific designated projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager/Engineering team Leader
Requirements
- appropriate Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Qualification along with a Minimum of 2 years relevant operational experience in an engineering environment
- NVQ/BTEC Level 3 in electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- reading Drawings, Fault Finding and corrective action
- understanding and experience in Tool setting
- ability to work within a team as well as being able to work unsupervised
- able to use own initiative, make effective decisions and judgments when required
- confident in delivery of Maintenance excellence and performance both mechanically and electrically
- able to Identify and assess opportunities for Operational Improvement
