- full-time
Responsibility
- document the Construction Phase Plan and set up H&S systems
- request labour and materials to enable delivery to the programme
- work with QS, Contracts Manager and Planner to produce a construction Programme
- the Site Manager must have experience working on-site, leading small projects or be an experienced Site Manager. The role reports to a Contracts Manager and may have an Assistant Site Manager reporting to them
- contribute in maintaining the health and safety on site
- you will undertake the delivery of a project on time, within budget and to the quality specified under the Contract, whilst observing Forcia’s strict health & safety procedures and compliance with the contract terms and conditions
- lead in all communications and reporting to the client’s agent / representative. This includes formal and informal communications
- set up project records
Requirements
- strong structural knowledge
- experience working on existing buildings
- ability to manage inhouse works
- experience on JCT projects
- high energy & enthusiasm
- interest in technical knowledge
- forcia is looking for someone who is keen to run their own construction site, with a strong history of experience working on existing buildings in complex structural alterations
