- demonstrates a flexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilities appropriate to the role and takes direction appropriately
- maintain personal task authorizations for working on aircraft or components
- the Mechanical Technician will be an experienced and skilled technician undertaking a range of detailed maintenance activities on an aircraft or aircraft component
- ensure that maintenance is undertaken to schedule and resolve any issues, and escalate as required
- at this level, the post holder requires a good understanding of the construct of the approved Technical Information set and is competent to work unaided to approved data, and maintenance instructions and in accordance with the organization’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition

- demonstrates the ability to analyze and diagnose faults to equipment & assemblies, follow diagnostic procedures and work effectively within a team to provide guidance to less experienced team members in a diverse and dynamic operational environment
