Responsibility
- we are seeking a Security Shift Leader to oversee the security operations at a large distribution warehouse in Bury Saint Edmunds
- conduct regular patrols of the site to ensure that all areas are secure and free from any potential security threats
- monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity and respond accordingly
- investigate any security incidents or breaches and report them to the appropriate authorities
- ensure that all security equipment is in good working order and report any faults or defects to the relevant department
- the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of security guards to ensure that they are performing their duties efficiently and effectively
- liaise with other departments and external agencies to ensure that security measures are coordinated and effective
- lead a team of security guards to ensure that they are performing their duties in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- proven experience as a Shift Leader or similar role
- excellent knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- strong leadership and management skills
- ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours and shifts as required
- SIA license is essential
