Requirements

  • proven experience as a Finance Manager, ideally in the retail sector
  • proficient understanding of financial, accounting, and data analysis principles
  • excellent knowledge of data analysis, forecasting methods, and modern data visualization tools
  • proficient in the use of MS Office, financial management software , and Business Intelligence tools
  • experience in using financial software and databases for detailed data analysis
  • strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
  • strong analytical, strategic planning, and financial modelling skills

Responsibility

  • the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of our business, making informed decisions to drive our profitability and growth
  • the ideal candidate will have experience in the retail industry, a strong understanding of financial and data analysis principles, and familiarity with the SAGE 200 system
  • ensure compliance with all tax filings and reporting including VAT returns for both our UK and Irish entities
  • develop and maintain timely and accurate financial reports and statements ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and procedures
  • monitor budget implementations and suggest corrective actions when necessary
  • liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls
  • perform financial analysis, reporting, and data compilation for senior management
  • provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections
