Responsibility

  • FSC is a well-established company, supplying construction and maintenance services to hygiene-conscious businesses since 2012
  • our typical site developments will include commercial and industrial construction and refurbishment projects
  • the chosen candidate will be expected to lead by example, and able to instruct others clearly
  • FSC Construction & Maintenance is on the lookout for an experienced Working Site Foreman to join the team on a long-term basis
  • this is a very hands-on role, leading a site team of typically 3 or 4 other team members of various skill sets
  • the chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing and working to the site program, managing site activities, providing support, and encouraging the team
  • the ideal candidate will also be responsible for on-site Client and Company relationships, ensuring that jobs finish on time with minimum disruption to the Client, Customers, and General Public
  • moreover, they must practice the highest standards of Health & Safety and Accident Prevention, in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act and the management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and any relevant Health and Safety Legislation applicable to the works being undertaken

Requirements

  • previous experience in Construction Site Manager or Foreman Role
  • current SSSTS working towards SMSTS
  • holder of a full UK driving licence
  • work on own initiative
  • good communication numeracy and literacy skills
  • well-organised and good time management
  • able to work in a team environment
  • driving License - A valid driving License is required for occasional travel
