Responsibility

  • we are looking for someone with at least 1 year of previous bar management experience
  • the pub is open from 3pm daily and closes at 11pm weekdays and midnight at weekends
  • we are a small independent business with approx 18 staff and have been established for over 30 years. We are a friendly pub with an adjoining busy, large capacity alternative nightclub
  • in addition to normal bar duties, some of the responsibilities for this role include cellar management, dealing with deliveries, keyholder responsibilities and providing friendly customer service
  • the candidate must be self-motivated, have a common-sense attitude and be reliable and trustworthy as the role includes working alone at times and being a responsible decision maker
  • the hours can be extremely flexible if desired. It can include shifts in the adjoining nightclub which is open until 2am on a Thursday, Friday & Saturday night in addition to shifts in the pub, rota worked out to ensure a good work/life balance
  • there is no accommodation with this role therefore a local resident is preferred & interviews are being conducted in person at the venue
