- filby Hall Children's Home is looking for a Senior qualified with the Level 3 Residential Childcare diploma, to work for Flying Spur Ltd in Filby, near Great Yarmouth
- the role involves supervising residential support staff in their care role, completing and maintaining accurate record keeping, meeting Children's Homes regulations and standards, and ultimately caring for our resident young people who have behavioural difficulties due to trauma
- we are looking for a person with strong interpersonal skills, willing to share knowledge with colleagues and communicate well with the team
- you must be willing to participate in regular staff training and meetings, kind and understanding, good at organising and listening, able to build appropriate relationships with young people and support them with family contact and be comfortable leading regular keywork sessions
- we work using a restorative approach to negative behaviours, and encourage attendance in education, to promote good behaviours we run a daily incentive reward scheme
