Responsibility
- undertake receipt and checking of incoming parts in line with the Company goods in process
- place orders with suppliers to support the Service Department
- raise purchase orders for parts, subcontract charges and as required by the department
- carry out regular and spot stock takes as required
- monitor impress stock alongside suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
- ensure all stock is stored, handled, and transported securely and in line with health & safety guidelines
- work with colleagues to ensure the workplace is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the business
Requirements
- possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy and be IT competent
- good understanding of, and commitment to safe working practices
- good communication skills along with efficient time management skills
- have a valid driving license
- must have commercial vehicle parts knowledge
