Responsibility

  • we are seeking a bookkeeper/admin assistant to join our growing team working in a friendly, fast paced, and unique environment
  • flo Office Support Limited are an accountants/bookkeeping company based in Rochford, Essex. Providing both an ad-hoc and bespoke services to various companies ranging from construction, beauty, antiques, nightclubs and many more
  • general administrative duties as and when needed
  • undertaking clerical tasks such as typing, filing, printing, photocopying, scanning, setting up new folders and making phone calls
  • preparation and submission of monthly CIS returns and monthly and quarterly VAT returns
  • liaising directly with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
  • reconciliations of bank statements and credit card statements

Requirements

  • good communication skills - verbal and written
  • proficient in using Sage50 Accounts and Sage50 Payroll
  • good standard of numeracy
  • good knowledge of CIS
  • high standard of literacy
  • good knowledge of Domestic Reverse Charge VAT
  • excellent organisational skills
  • previous accountancy experience
