Responsibility
- full Time Accounts Payable Assistant
- your role will be to maintain the accounts payable function within the business
- managing all aspects of the Purchase ledger
- this is a multi-company role
- raising Purchase Orders via Sage 50-experience with pop withing Sage Line 50 desirable
- maintaining the Aged creditors, dealing with queries and retentions held
- creating weekly & monthly payment run values for the finance manager
- we are looking for an experienced accounts payable person that can hit the ground running and take on the day-to-day functions of a busy accounts department. Construction industry experience would be a definite advantage but not essential
Requirements
- good attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to react to meet demands and deadlines
- computer literacy, especially familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software such Sage 50 and Sage One
- multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
- excellent communication skills
- reliable and Self-Motivated
- conversant with CIS
- 5+ years’ Experience in an accounts payable role
