Responsibility

  • fisher & Company are looking for a Full-Time experienced Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator to join the team
  • the job role is quite varied and as such you will be involved with multiple processes from the start manufacture of our products, through to the packing process
  • this includes cutting and folding of raw materials, welding Mild steel, Stainless and Ali if possible, fitting out Feeder Pillars with backboards and locks and working closely with other members in the workshop to ensure a smooth manufacture process
  • you will also need to have the ability to work from drawings as we manufacture a good percentage of bespoke items. Design problem solving an advantage all whilst working closely with the Managing Director

Requirements

  • mig welding steel plate and tube up to maximum thickness of 6mm
  • press brake setting & operating
  • guillotine operating
  • metal working Power tools
  • you will also be required to gain experience in setting power presses
  • welding: 1 year
