production operator

Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Responsibility
- assist Machine Operators in the running of various machines
- ensure product packs are correctly labelled and banded ready for transportation
- operate overhead cranes
- clean machines/rafts and assist in minor maintenance
- support with ad hoc task as required
- production Operatives will progress to machine operation once they have acquired the relevant skills and experience
- role purpose: Support the production of high quality products whilst meeting production targets and adhering to Health & Safety requirements
- ensure production deadlines are met whilst meeting safety and quality standards
Requirements
- experience of working within a manufacturing environment
- A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a similar environment
- loading a 3.5 T flatbed vehicle, making nationwide deliveries
- providing first class customer service to our customers, ensuring delivery schedules are met in a professional and timely manner
- experience operating machinery is desirable
- able to prioritise and meet productivity levels
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- A good work ethic - hard working and reliable
