Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • we are looking for a Team Leader to support our young people
  • plan, manage, and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged
  • ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care at all times
  • be flexible, consistent, reflective and creative in your engagement with the young people
  • conducting regularly key working sessions with the young people
  • our unique home is a large, detached house on a private lane with a tranquil front garden with maintained greenery including trees, plants, and a fish pond
  • the requirement to sleep overnight at the home
  • the Home Manager who is supported by two Deputy Managers in addition to our on-site Occupational Therapist who supports children and staff

Requirements

  • level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
  • minimum of 1 year’s referenceable experience working with children and young people in a residential home
  • children's residential care: 1 year
