- children's Residential Care Home Manager
- understanding the needs of the children in your care as they will have Learning Disabilities, possible challenging behaviour, Autism or other complex needs
- building positive relationships the children and your staff is of the upmost importance to create a safe space for them to fulfill their potential
- you will need to be consistent in your management approach and outlining the homes statement of purpose and ethos, maintaining an open door policy
- you will be required to contribute to individual care plans ensuring they are accurate and comply with national and local policies and procedures
- your main priority will be safeguarding the children in your care and supporting your staff to follow your lead and providing additional training where required. This may be highlighted within the supervisions or annual reviews you will carry out
