experience in a commercial kitchen is essential, as is cooking fresh food to order
prep, cooking and service for Friday and Saturday evening events over the summer at Fika Woolfox, with the view of carrying this into the autumn and winter months
creating and organising a menu for the summer evenings which is small plates/tapas-style, but as we move into the colder months and indoors we would be looking for this to become more of a modern European a la carte/sharing plates menu
organisational and time-management skills are also essential
you would also be responsible for catering for private events, such as birthday parties and hen-do brunches for up to 100 people at a time - including the menu planning, ordering and stock management, prep and service of the actual event
the menu would be done on a per-event basis but would be either small plates or a buffet-style selection
overseeing the food-side of the event from start to finish, including all food safety requirements and kitchen paperwork to align with and maintain our 5/5 Food Hygiene rating
