laboratory technician

Responsibility

  • collaborate with the research and development team to provide insights and contribute to ongoing product improvement efforts
  • stay updated with the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field of contamination detection, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • execute experimental protocols and follow standard operating procedures to process liquid samples through the contamination detection device
  • operate pumps, valves, and flow rate sensors to ensure proper functioning and accurate sample processing
  • monitor and record experimental data, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to established protocols
  • we are committed to revolutionizing the field of contamination detection and ensuring the safety and quality of various industries' products, starting in the drinks industry
  • prepare detailed reports summarizing the findings, including graphical representations and clear interpretations of the data
  • perform routine laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, calibration of instruments, and maintenance of lab equipment

Requirements

  • you will be responsible for executing experimental protocols, operating laboratory equipment, analysing data, and generating reports to communicate the findings effectively
  • in this role you will take the lead in the day-to-day operations of our lab, managing the processing of liquid samples through our state-of-the-art detection device
  • you will have a strong foundation in laboratory procedures and techniques, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • you will be detail oriented and will have worked in a lab environment for at least 18 months, and if you have commercial experience that would be great, although it’s not a pre-requisite
