Responsibility
- you will be responsible for daily planning jobs for your staff, providing briefings and timely work instructions
- to be able to confidently read and interpret site plans, drawings and identify any variances. Site setting out /surveying skills
- you will be responsible for the organisation and processing of projects in the Civils realm of FGS Pilcher, providing line management for your staff
- ensure effective communication, discipline and interpersonal skills are used to establish good working relationships with your staff
- you must gain a clear understanding of the Client’s requirements to ensure you are structuring the project to their wishes whilst ensuring the work is in line with the priced proposal/contract terms
- you should respond positively to instructions and suggestions whilst having a desire to continuously improve the business
- you will also ensure adherence to correct timescales such that penalties are not incurred, balancing resources and material delivery to achieve the satisfying outcome
- plan and manage work schedules and procuring the necessary equipment and materials in an economical and timely manner through the Buyer and yourself, prioritising work efficiently, using delegation skills to meet deadlines
