- to provide a well balanced, nourishing and appetising meal for the residents
- to prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and supper
- observe the Food Hygiene Regulations
- to cater for clients with special diets, likes and dislikes
- all accidents within the catering department are to be reported to the Patient care manager or nurse-in-charge of duty
- to bake cake/s for residents’ supper time. To bake cakes on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries
- to order correctly and cook the right amount to avoid wastage
- ensure a clean, hygienic working practice at all times
