  • provide person-centered support to service users with learning disabilities
  • as a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with learning disabilities lead fulfilling and independent lives
  • assist service users with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities
  • promote independence and social inclusion by engaging service users in meaningful activities
  • ensure the safety and well-being of service users at all times
  • maintain accurate records of support provided and report any concerns to the senior staff

Requirements

  • previous experience in a similar support worker role is preferred but not essential
  • flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as this is an agency role
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A commitment to promoting the rights and dignity of service users
  • A valid DBS check
