Responsibility

  • registering and logging all new incoming invoices
  • having invoices signed off and authorised by the correct person
  • chasing up invoices not authorised in a timely fashion
  • entering authorised invoices onto the purchase ledger and assigning the correct nominal codes
  • reconciling supplier statements
  • processing monthly and weekly electronic payment runs
  • investigating and rectifying discrepancies on the purchase ledger
  • maintaining the purchase ledger cash books and posting all transactions

Requirements

  • experience in similar roles
  • multitasking abilities
  • minimum AAT Level 2 desirable
  • excellent communication
  • attention to detail
