fabricator welder
Working hours
- full-time | Temporary | Permanent
Responsibility
- weld and fabricate a wide range of light, medium and heavy industrial products
- undertake all aspects of engineering works both on site and within the workshop
- take measurements and read fabrication drawings to ensure products are fabricated to exact specifications
- set up, operate and carry out basic maintenance of machinery / tools such as press brake, guillotine, lathe, drills, etc
- ensure all health and safety procedures are understood and followed at all times
Requirements
- extensive previous experience in MIG and TIG welding to a high standard, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- experience and ability to read, interpret and fabricate products from engineering drawings
- ability to set up, operate and carry out basic maintenance of engineering machinery
- flexible with a positive attitude and ability to work overtime when required
- good knowledge in health and safety
- full driving license and own transport
- FLT license, MEWP license etc desirable
- fabricating: 3 years
