Responsibility

  • we are looking for an experienced Nursery manager to join our team
  • you must have overseen at least one Ofsted inspection that had a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcome
  • you must have experience of implementing nursery safeguarding policies and procedures
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to complete one
  • you must be able to lead, inspire and motivate a team of Nursery practitioners on a daily basis to ensure they deliver the EYFS, meet children's developmental and wellbeing needs, and maintain excellent relationships with parents
  • ensuring a safe environment for all children and staff is very important as is building relationships with staff, parents and other agencies
  • creating a stimulating environment to promote learning Ensuring all children make progress within the EYFS framework is of utmost importance Staff appraisals, mentoring and identifying training needs is important
  • you will need at least a level 3 qualification in child care, must have managed a nursery for at least 3years, Good knowledge of the national curriculum Clear understanding of Ofsted policies and procedures
