Responsibility
- work to a written or verbal brief provided by the Senior Architect
- assist the Senior Architect to complete architectural/interior packages as requested
- assist the Senior Architect produce detailed drawings and tender packages as requested
- liaise with contractors and other professionals as required
- attend, as requested and required by the Senior Architect, meetings with contractors and other specialists
- make site visits to check on progress, as instructed by the Senior Architect
- continue to develop knowledge and skills relevant or applicable to your role
- any ad hoc requests from either the Senior Architect or the Directors
Requirements
- the Interior Architect will be either educated with an applicable degree, or diploma. A minimum of 2
- years’ experience working in a professional design studio
- working quickly and efficiently in an organized manner
- this is a full-time position based in our Pimlico Road studio. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK
- ability to work as part of a team and independently under the supervision of the Senior Designer
- producing bespoke joinery, elevations, plans, sections, RCPs drawings
- the Interior Architect will report to the Senior Architect who will direct and supervise the work as well as mentor performance and development
- good working knowledge of UK planning rules and regulations
