- check that agreed work has been completed satisfactorily and follow-up on any deficiencies
- adhere to budgets and plan to maximise profitability
- oversee and agree contracts and providers for a variety of services including cleaning, security, waste, recycling, water and energy
- ensure that water and heating facilities are well maintained
- drafting reports and making written recommendations
- prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors
