Responsibility
- 01. Direct client liaison
- 02. Collection and collation of client financial information
- farm and Equestrian Finance is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter to join our team in South Molton. This position will be responsible for assisting with the underwriting of specialist commercial mortgages
- 03. Interrogation and assessment of client financial information
- 05. Direct involvement in the decision to put forward the client candidate to the proposed lender
- 04. Delivery to the Director of a recommendation as to the suitability of the client for the borrowing facility requested or any alternative approaches which might be suggested
Requirements
- must be able to follow established procedures and processes
- must have a high degree of professionalism
- must possess excellent communication skills
- ability to work independently with little supervision
- the successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience working within a bank, building society or secondary lender directly involved in credit assessment and credit decision making
- strong organizational skills are required. Ability to multi-task is a must
- alternatively, the successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience working as an accountant within a corporate finance department or as an account manager within a firm of accountants
