Responsibility

  • 1 Assist the Mill Manager in preparation of budgets
  • 2 Assist the Mill Manager in the review and implementation of financial policies
  • 3 Process and maintain the Society’s financial records
  • permanent Part Time
  • your normal hours of work will be 3 days per week
  • 4 Reconcile daily, monthly and annual transactions
  • 5 Prepare balance sheets
  • 6 Produce financial forecasts and cash flow projections

Requirements

  • able to handle and/or lift reasonable heavy/bulky objects within published health and safety guidelines on manual handling
  • proven experience as a Finance Officer, or Experience of using QuickBooks or equivalent similar role accounting software
  • honest
  • sound knowledge of financial and accounting Previous experience of working within the procedures charity sector
  • able to sustain excellent face to face communication skills to build and maintain good customer, supplier and staff relationships
  • knowledge of Financial Regulations
  • able and willing to work with a diverse range of visitors and colleagues
  • experience of using financial software
