Responsibility

  • we require an experienced Full Stack WordPress developer who is proficient working with custom built WordPress themes and plugins
  • you will be responsible for working alongside these teams to deliver the project requirements for our clients
  • at Fanatic we like to push creativity within web design, so we are always looking to our developers to create custom code that brings our designs to life
  • we build bespoke websites utilising WordPress functionality such as; custom page templates, custom post types, taxonomies, rows/content blocks powered by ACF and custom-built plugins
  • we have an in-house digital marketing & design team who collaborate with our developers to combine knowledge within the business to create websites with a strong identity, great UX which are search engine optimised

Contract type

  • full-time Permanent
  • subject to 6 month probation period

Requirements

  • essential
  • excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge
  • experience with WordPress development, including working with custom built themes, plugins, post types and taxonomies
  • understanding and experience with PHP
  • experience with Git & other repository tools
  • A keen eye for good UI/UX design & attention to detail
  • good understanding of responsive design principles
  • excellent written and verbal communications skills
