Requirements
- to participate and assist in the development of near patient dispensing services within the Trust to provide an efficient discharge process
- to deliver training and assessing competencies of clinical pharmacy technicians and other health care professionals in the medicine’s management process
- to develop policies and procedures in area of responsibility
- to initiate and undertake audits in liaison with senior clinical pharmacists
- provide support to pharmacy and nursing staff using the electronic prescribing and medicines administration systems
- to support Pharmacy Services manager in planning, organisation and developing the medicines management services on wards and promoting, organising, and developing pharmacy services / patient safety within pharmacy
- to participate as a Clinical Pharmacy Technician to provide an efficient ward-based service to ensure the accurate and timely supply of medicines
