- undertake repairs and maintenance of let properties and farms, including heritage properties
- conduct carpentry work, including joinery, and roofing work
- identify and troubleshoot issues with buildings, and develop solutions to fix them
- work in collaboration with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- assist with other general building tasks as required
Requirements
- previous experience as a carpenter/general builder is essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience
- good knowledge of carpentry techniques, joinery, and roofing
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- full driving license is essential
- the ability to work at heights is required
- experience or an interest in heritage property would be an advantage
