Working hours

Responsibility

  • undertake repairs and maintenance of let properties and farms, including heritage properties
  • conduct carpentry work, including joinery, and roofing work
  • identify and troubleshoot issues with buildings, and develop solutions to fix them
  • work in collaboration with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
  • assist with other general building tasks as required

Requirements

  • previous experience as a carpenter/general builder is essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience
  • good knowledge of carpentry techniques, joinery, and roofing
  • strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • full driving license is essential
  • the ability to work at heights is required
  • experience or an interest in heritage property would be an advantage
